Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Udimi Productions, SL (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use Tabator: the Tabator Android app, the web app at app.tabator.com, and the website tabator.com (together, the “Service”).

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Google account information

If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, profile picture, and Google account ID. We do not receive your Google password and we do not access any other data in your Google account. See Google User Data.

1.2 Using the app without Google sign-in

You can use the app without signing in. In that case, your account is linked to a random identifier created when you install the app.

1.3 Workout data you create

workout templates and intervals
completed workouts: date, duration, and estimated calories
notes and photos you add to your workout journal
app settings, such as language, music, and voice narration

1.4 Friends

Your friend list, friend requests, and the email address of a person you invite to become your friend.

1.5 Purchases

If you buy a subscription, the payment is processed by Google Play. We receive only the purchase token, the product, and the subscription status. We never receive your card or bank details.

1.6 Technical information

IP address (used to determine your country), time zone, device and app version, and a push notification token.

1.7 Website

The website tabator.com uses Google Analytics, which uses cookies to measure website traffic.

2. How We Use Information

We use information only to:

create your account and sign you in
store your workouts, templates, and settings and sync them across your devices
show your name and profile picture to your friends and on workouts or templates you share
send push notifications, such as friend requests
verify and manage your subscription
answer your support requests
keep the Service secure and fix errors

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell it.

3. Google User Data

Tabator uses Google Sign-In only to let you sign in. We request only the basic openid, email, and profile permissions.

Data accessed: your name, email address, profile picture, and Google account ID.
How we use it: to create and identify your Tabator account, to show your name and profile picture in the app to you and your friends and on workouts or templates you share, and to contact you about your account.
How we store it: on our servers together with your Tabator account, protected as described in Data Storage and Security.
How we share it: we do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or transfer it to third parties, except to Google Firebase to process sign-in, to other users as described in How We Share Information, or when required by law.
AI and machine learning: we do not use Google user data to develop, improve, or train AI or machine learning models.
Deletion: Google user data is deleted when you delete your account, as described in Data Retention and Deletion. You can also remove Tabator’s access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Tabator’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We do not sell personal information. We share it only in these cases:

With other users, as you choose. Your friends can see your name, profile picture, and the workouts you make visible to them. If you share a workout or template by link, anyone with the link can see it together with your name and profile picture.
With service providers that process data on our behalf: our hosting provider, Google Firebase (sign-in and push notifications), Google Play (subscriptions), Google Analytics (website statistics), and Sentry (error monitoring).
When required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the Service.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers. All data is transferred over encrypted HTTPS connections, and access to it is limited to people who need it to operate the Service. Our service providers may process data outside your country. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

We keep your data for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account at any time using the Delete account option in the app settings. This permanently deletes your account together with your profile, workouts, templates, friends, settings, and purchase records.

You can also ask us to delete your data by emailing contact@tabator.com.

7. Your Rights

You can ask us to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or object to its processing, by emailing contact@tabator.com. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.

8. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, or under the minimum age required in your country. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and change the “Last updated” date above.
